The Planning Commission consists of three or five Commissioners appointed by the Mayor and concurred with by the  City Council. The Commission handles land use issues within the City. The Commissioners serve two-year staggered terms and are appointed in July of each year.

Regular Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 6:00 p.m. However, the Commission generally only meets on an "as needed" basis.
