How is your city government performing? This dashboard gives every resident a direct look at how the City of Portola is doing its job. The dashboard is updated every month with real numbers from City operations.

The Performance Dashboard tracks key metrics across four areas: Administration, Public Works, Code Enforcement, and Staff and Organization. You can see how many building permits are being issued, whether code violations are being resolved, how many business licenses are active, and more all in one place, in plain language.

Please note that this dashboard reflects a selected set of measurable indicators and is not a comprehensive representation of all services the City provides. Many of the valuable things city government does every day, from maintaining infrastructure to supporting community events to responding to resident needs, do not lend themselves to simple monthly metrics. This dashboard is one tool for transparency, not the complete picture of City work.

This dashboard is part of the City's commitment to open, accountable government. Alongside the Interactive Budget Dashboard, it gives the public a picture of both where your tax dollars go and some of what your city is accomplishing with them.
